Aloha Fellow Classmates

Hope all is well with you and your loved ones! Mid-year of 2007 is around the corner and before you know it – we’ll all be boarding our flights bound for Las Vegas, Nevada, the ninth Hawaiian Island!

Your Committee Members continue to meet and work out the details to make this 30^th Reunion a memorable one. At the same time, we realize that many of you will be traveling with families and… Las Vegas, being a gambling Mecca, you’ll need some cash reserve for enjoyment. Keeping the cost affordable has been our highest priority. The simplicity of our 30^th Reunion will be just that, nothing extravagant; bonding with families, renewing friendships, and taking in the lights and scenes of Las Vegas will all make for an enchanting evening.

Just to recap what we have planned for our 30^th. A “slot tournament” at the Main Street Hotel is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, October 4^th. A Dinner Banquet Buffet is confirmed for the evening of Friday, October 5^th, at the California Hotel, Maile Dining Room. The rest of the week, we thought, for families to spend at their leisure.

May we offer a few suggestions for a fun-filled trip. Please consider hooking up with some fellow classmates to rent a car to seek out shopping outlet stores to start on your early Christmas Shopping spree. The Las Vegas Strip has sights and entertainment for adults and children. Broadway shows play nightly, so go on-line to reserve your discounted tickets in advance.

Also, if you’re still shopping around for airline fares and hotel/car packages, Twila Kawai of Elixir travel has offered her services. She is also assisting with the FHS Class of ’75 members. Her contact number is (808)620-2355 or email at elixirtravel@hotmail.com.

A slide show is in the making, please submit no more than 3 of your favorite high school photos. No guarantees, but we will do our best to return your original photos either by mail or at the reunion.

The cost of the dinner buffet is $60.00 for adults and $40.00 for children 10 years and under. Children 1 year of age and under are free. Deadline for payments is Friday, September 14^th, 2007. Please complete and print the form below and mail it with your check payment to:
